Continuing the Family Legacy with Jordan D’Silva

We are back with another episode! Today, we're thrilled to introduce Jordan D'Silva, CEO of Web City Properties—a family-owned real estate investment company focused on renting out and improving single-family homes, as well as developing properties in southern Dallas and nearby areas. With over 50 million dollars in assets and a dedicated team of 14 employees, Web City Properties has established itself as a trusted name in the industry. The story of Web City Properties starts with Jordan's father, John D'Silva. John came to the United States from India in the 1970s and worked hard to build several businesses. In 2005, he started Web City Properties in Dallas with the goal of buying, fixing up, selling, and renting out single-family homes in the southern part of the city. Over 15 years, John grew the business to include over 500 properties. Sadly, he passed away in 2020, and Jordan took over to continue his father's legacy. In this episode, Jordan shares the inspiring story of his father's journey from India to Indiana and how he paved the way for their family's success in real estate. Jordan also talks about their strategy for recession proofing their investments by investing in lower income neighborhoods. He shares their experience of moving to Dallas before the real estate market went through a difficult time. Furthermore, Jordan discusses how Web City Properties shifted its focus to single-family homes in Dallas and the importance of effectively managing their assets. He also reveals his ambitious plans to expand the company by acquiring larger apartment buildings that need improvements and developing different types of properties across Texas. Jordan aims to strengthen their property management capabilities and build a team to handle construction projects. He actively seeks partnerships with experienced professionals and investors to learn from their expertise and make the most of his own resources and connections. Join us as we dive into this episode where Jordan D'Silva shares personal stories, valuable lessons, and his unwavering dedication to taking Web City Properties to new heights.
